Cannot see the entire front end screen!

I installed the program on my Kohjinsha SH mini-netbook which has both 800x600 and 1024x600 screen resolution. I am unable to see the whole front-end screen regardless of which option I choose. Even with the 1024x600 screen, there is still some part of the screen on both sides still not visible! The program needs to interrogate the OS and adjust it's presentation accordingly! At the very least, there ought to be a button as per standard Windows programs in the upper right hand corner that allows the user to go to either full screen or to a partial window with scroll bars. As is, it is very difficult to see what controls to use.
